Spanish for Travellers
Planning a visit to a Spanish-speaking country? Learn some basic phrases to make your travels more interesting and enjoyable!
The Spanish Crash Course for travellers is designed specifically for travellers with upcoming travel plans to Spain or Latin America who want to learn quickly the basics of Spanish communication needed for everyday situations.
The course is divided into seven individual modules of two hours each and each day is devoted to a different theme. Grammar is not the focus of this course.
The course focuses on some of the immediate language challenges (and includes local customs and cultures) such as:
We use learning tools such as presentations, images, videos... that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

- Essential phrases – greetings and farewells. Asking basic information
- Getting around: vocabulary used in the city, directions, public transport
- Accommodation: vocabulary used at hotels and additional services
- Times and schedules: opening and closing times, arrivals and departures, trains and buses
- At the restaurant (food and menus): ordering, enquiring, expressing what you like
- Shopping: vocabulary about clothes, prices, paying with local currencies, numbers
